Application Process

APPLICATION PROCESS Navigation Application process of new pupils for Hartmann House: Grade 0 Applications for the Paul Miki ECD Centre Step 1 – The correct age for your son to be going into Grade 0 is the year in which he is 4 years old turning 5 years old.  Thus, we recommend parents to make their son’s application in the year when he turns 3 years old. Application Packs are obtainable from the Receptionist at Hartmann House, or can be downloaded using the below links, and should be returned to the Registrar at St George’s College with the correct registration fee. Step 2 – Once applications are made, Parent Interviews and Applicant Assessment Tests are usually held in mid-May the year before the applicant begins Grade 0. Step 3 – July/August is when the final selection of applicants takes place. Step 4-  Non-refundable deposits/Desk fees are usually due between August/September and final invoices are usually ready for collection in the first week of December. Step 5 – All that is left is for us to welcome your son to Hartmann House as an official student.   Grade 1 Applications for the Paul Miki ECD Centre PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM 01.01.2020, WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY NEW GRADE 1 APPLICATION FORMS.    Grade 2 Applications for the Paul Miki ECD Centre Step 1 – The correct age for your son to be going into Grade 2 is the year in which he is 6 years old turning 7 years old.  Thus, we recommend parents to make their son’s application in the year when he turns 5 years old. Application Packs are obtainable from the Receptionist at Hartmann House, or can be downloaded using the below links, and should be returned to the Registrar at St George’s College with the correct registration fee. Step 2 – Once applications are made, Applicant Assessment Tests are usually held mid-term of/after the term when the application is made. (Eg. If the application is made towards the end of term 1- the Assessment Test is likely to be mid-term of Term 2) Step 3 – Applicants that do well in their Assessment tests will be placed on the Waiting List. Unsuccessful applicants will receive a regret letter via email. Step 4-  Once a place becomes available, you will be required to pay a Non-refundable deposits/Desk fees to solidify your son’s placement. Final invoices are usually ready for collection once the desk fee has been paid in full.
