On Monday the 26th of March, the Grade 3 class made their way to the Harare Museum. The boys moved around as one group while our tour guide showed them African equipment that is specific to the Shona culture and lifestyle. Mrs Nya welcomed us and took us to the Shona village area. There were several huts, all with various functions for example, boys’ bedroom called a gota, girls bedroom, nhanga and the parents’ bedroom called a sikiro.
